Will try to support simply because it's not often that you see a black owned beauty supply store, but I can't lie I was kinda taken aback when the owner watched me wait patiently to check out with her as she finished with a client's hair ONLY for her to stop to assist and checkout a non-black customer as soon as she walked in. Not that race matters, but no customer should be expected to have any more or less patience than the next customer.
Prices are reasonable and the workers are nice. The parking lot on the weekend is packed.

Excellent customer service. The variety of hair is ok but they need to add shorter lengths to their stock. Everyone doesn’t want hair down their back. Also they’re a little on the $$ side for the same hair I can get on Amazon for dollars less.
A decent variety of hair and skin products. Some cosmetics, blow dryers and flat irons. Hair extensions/half wig/full wig options are limited; however, lots of braiding hair. Hair pricing can be high for certain options. 3 stars because everytime I run in at the last minute for a product I'm able to achieve my desired look.
C&J always has what I need! Beautiful hair, and all sorts of styles. You really have to look through the aisles and read the bottles because I found this little gem... had never heard of the brand before but when I got it home it was the perfect blend for my curls! The staff is there and willing to help you find whatever you need. They have been there for a long time and I'm always satisfied.
Always have what I need in stock, and they always provide GREAT customer service to me.
