Best PlaceJuice Reviews

This place is deplorable. It's filthy and the workers are rude beyond comprehension. They are overpriced and very sloppy work. If you want to keep your edges I advise going elsewhere. The woman kept braided my hair so tight and I kept telling her it's too tight. A hairstyle should not be painful. Then she did not execute the style as I asked for it and I was overcharged. It took nearly 8 hours for a simple style. Most of the time the women in their spend their time gossiping and just walking around moving very slowly. And the place is so crowded and nasty. Then she had nerve to dry my hair with a dirty nasty filthy towel. My skin is crawling I literally had to go straight home and wash my hair.
I’ve been going to this place for a couple of years and their quality has gone way down over time. If you need quick decent work I’d recommend it as an emergency option, BUT BE WARNED!! The owners don’t set prices so they’re never the same. I’ve seen that lead to arguments with their clients. I called to get a price today and she called me cheap when I said I wouldn’t be coming in. The furniture is soiled and stinky. The place is always a mess and screaming kids are everywhere. I try to get in and out as fast as I can but I don’t think I’ll be returning.
Unprofessional, dirty salon, nasty restroom, rodents crawling around, children are running around and crying the entire time. The owner and another hair stylist stopped braiding hair to go upstairs where they live to get dirty clothes bags and they left the shop while clients were waiting to get their hair done to go wash clothes! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!
My hair is satisfactory from the lady that did my hair…Besides that their unprofessional to their clients… I ended up here because of an emergency I had with another braiding shop that also don’t honor appointments..They make appointments they don’t keep,They start peoples hair then when someone random comes in they’ll stop your hair and start doing that’s persons..The kids are running everywhere while it’s hot water on the floors boiling.. Near the door this girl was getting her hair braided and her bag almost fell out the door because the kids keep running back and forth;she was unhappy and rolling her eyes because the kids..I had a good experience this time but I happened to get lucky with my braiding girl.. Alot of the braided in front of me kept stopping constantly I was getting mad for those people too..
They do okay work... buy lazy workers who complained about me wanting small braids... Even though I was willing to pay... place is super disgusting... baby and children crying and running around ... throwing things and they try to get over. Will not be ever going there again... braid shops are a dime a dozen and on every block in every town. They need to clean the place up and take better pride in their work and customers or they will be shutting down.
First time there. Lil Emmy did her thing. Medium box braids only 4hrs. Super cute.I ❤❤❤ them. I will be back
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! first and last time !!!! The owner was nasty because I said after 5 hours she only got done 10 box braids.. once I said your going slow you got to much going on can somebody else help she got nasty. Kids running around (not clients kids)! I really had to pay 20$ extra dollars for a second person to help finish my daughter hair a child. It shouldn’t of took 9 hours.. disrespectful to other clients I will never never never go there again even if they was the last shop on earth yes that deep!
VERY DIRTY! Roaches everywhere, furniture is old and ripped up. I came as soon as they opened up so she can start early and get done early. First of all she (Mary I think it was)charged me 200 for mic rows because my hair is short… Took her almost 3 hours and only did like 7 braids. Then some boy came in and wanted a retwist, so she stopped my hair and said she was going to do his hair real quick and be back to me! I do hair myself so I know dang-on well how long a retwist take, and it’s not real quick and his hair was nappy. So I demanded a refund and started taking the braids out immediately! While I was taking them out I noticed that the braids was sloppy and I could feel my hair sticking out of them!! DON’T GO HERE. VERY DIRTY UNCOMFORTABLE SETTING and they up charge like the Chinese ppl be doing! You have to be desperate and out of options to go here PERIOD!
